Dan J. Millar

CURRENT ROLE:
As Manager, Business Development, my role is a ‘Connector.’  I connect growth oriented financial advisors with the people and processes at Bridgeport who can help them build.

BEFORE BRIDGEPORT:
I have been employed in business or advisor development for well over 20 years.  I have worked as a wholesaler and regional management with Sun Life, Stone Funds, and as an inside sales person at Forstrong Global Asset Management.

EDUCATION:
I have earned a diploma from Durham College, earned my Chartered Investment Management designation, and just under two years ago, completed an on-line certification (Strength & Conditioning Coaching) from Algonquin College.

DESIGNATIONS:
Chartered Investment Manager

WHAT HE LOVES MOST ABOUT HIS JOB:
I enjoy speaking with business leaders and advisors who are creative and confident about the future they are building and I enjoy helping them in this pursuit.

ON THE WEEKENDS:
I can usually be found at the gym, reading, or watching basketball.
