About
CURRENT ROLE:
Tom joined Bridgeport Asset Management in 2020 as Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for the firm’s operations, finance and compliance.
BEFORE BRIDGEPORT:
Tom has over 20 years of business experience in accounting, valuation, finance, asset management, restructuring and capital market transactions. His prior experience includes ten years as CFO and a member of the investment team with a TSX-listed alternative asset management firm. Earlier in his career, he worked in fund management and as a corporate controller with a Toronto-based hedge fund and in accounting, valuation and finance with Citco Fund Services and Ernst & Young in Bermuda and Kitchener.
EDUCATION:
Earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Laurentian University.
DESIGNATIONS:
Tom holds a CPA, CA designation.

ON THE WEEKENDS:
Tom is a family man and dedicated to his wife and three kids. He is an active member in his community, serving as a boy scout leader and volunteer with his kids’ recreational sports teams. Growing up in northern Ontario has given him a love of the outdoors and he enjoys skiing, biking, hiking and any activity that allows for quality time with family.
