Bill Takhar

CURRENT ROLE:
Bill is responsible for Accounting and Operations at Bridgeport Asset Management.

BEFORE BRIDGEPORT:
Bill has almost 20 years of experience in accounting, finance and asset management. Prior to joining Bridgeport, Bill was CFO at another wealth management firm and an assistant controller at a Toronto-based multi-family office. He also has worked at one of Canada’s largest custodians and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.

EDUCATION:
Earned a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science, Minor – Economics) from York University

DESIGNATIONS:
Bill is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)

ON THE WEEKENDS:
Bill enjoys spending as much time as he can with family and friends. Bill is an avid golfer and overall sports fan. He also played and coached Men’s soccer at a high level in Ontario.
