Boyan Lepoev

CURRENT ROLE:
As a Portfolio Manager, Boyan focuses on the management of Bridgeport’s private assets and fixed income strategies.

BEFORE BRIDGEPORT:
Boyan was Manager, Market Risk at the Bank of Nova Scotia, where he monitored, analyzed and reported on enterprise-wide market risk.

EDUCATION:
Earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University and Masters in Finance from Queen’s University.

WHAT HE LOVES MOST ABOUT HIS JOB:
“The variety and the intellectual challenge it presents. The main part of my job consists of looking at different companies in unique situations, so distilling the relevant information and forming an opinion requires all of the attention and ingenuity I can muster – making it only more rewarding.”

ON THE WEEKENDS:
Boyan tries to enjoy the outdoors with his German Shepherd, since he spends a lot of time in front of a screen at work. He doesn’t mind a game of soccer with friends or just a walk around the city.
